We had really good views of two of the more skulking species in the Upper Sonoran zone this morning. It was actually closer to noon when we got our best views, and these were the only birds singing from the Juniper covered hillsides at that time. The two singing Gray Vireos were very aggressive towards each other and we really got the impression that they'd only just arrived in the area.
