Sage Thrashers Oreoscoptes montanus.

March 29th 2007. Carefree, Maricopa County, AZ. (2)

April 2nd 2007. Santa Cruz Flats, Pinal County, AZ. (5).

Really nice to see a few lingering Sage Thrashers still in the desert, probably soon to depart north. The first couple 
were found on one of Susannah's point counts near Carefree, NW Maricopa County. The birds at Santa Cruz Flats 
appeared to be moving around in a loose flock. Fast moving birds, difficult to capture in images but exciting all the same.
