August 26th, 2005. Baker Street, Amherst, MA.
Blackburnian Warbler Dendroica fusca (first-winter).
This young Blackburnian Warbler showed up with a chickadee and titmouse flock as we sat in the yard drinking coffee. Our first really good migrant warbler of the fall on Baker Street.
Taken using Canon Powershot A-95 through Leica 10x42 bionculars.

Notice the complete yellowish-orange surround to the auriculars - a good feature for Blackburnian Warbler in the fall.
