Dropped
down into the floodplain of the Connecticut river valley to check Four
Star Turf farm on Pinemeadow Road. There were very few birds apart from
one rather nice concentration containing;
Killdeer - c.40
Pectoral Sandpiper - 2
Least Sandpiper - 1
The pictures are poor due to distance and some heat haze. They were taken at noon.
A couple of adult Bald Eagles were cruising around here as well.
