Tanji Reserve, The Gambia, West Africa. January 16th, 2003.
| Kelp Gull Larus dominicanus. Adult.
| Uncommon
but regular on the coast in Senegambia. Several adults and immatures
were present at this site. A real beast of a gull with a very heavy
bill and long grayish-green legs. Much larger and more robust than
accompanying graellsii Lesser Black-backed Gulls.
