Turner's Falls, MA. December 4th, 2005.
Eastern Screech-Owl Otus asio. Gray morph.
During an afternoon visit to Turner's Falls with Susannah Lerman, Kerry Doyle and Pat Clark, the Eastern Screech Owl, appeared a bit earlier in the afternoon than on December 1st. Otherwise, a rather similar selection of species to previous visits. The female Barrow's Goldeneye  flew into the Power Canal with 14 Common Goldeneyes quite late in the afternoon, and a Bufflehead was still present.
