Great Cormorant  Phalacrocorax carbo.(2)
No sign of the possible Pacific Loon seen on 10/22, and no loons at all from Winsor Dam. However, I’ve now received three individual opinions from experienced birders that these images and the description are strongly suggestive of Pacific Loon. The bird could still be present and is worth looking for.

Winsor Dam
Red-necked Grebe - 1, good views from the HQ and Dam.
GREAT CORMORANT - 2, gave great flight views as they flew in along the Dam at 15:00hrs and then settled off Winsor Dam.Present until at least 15:25hrs, but not relocated later.  One bird was slightly larger than the other, but both were certainly Great Cormorants.
American Black Duck - 1
Black Scoter - 8
Common Merganser - 2 flew in at 16:55hrs low overhead.
Plileated Woodpecker - 1
Eastern Phoebe - 1
American Pipit - 9
SNOW BUNTING - 1, a nice female feeding along the dam. My first of the fall.

Goodnough Dike
Common Loon - 3
Red-necked Grebe - 1
Winter Wren - 2
