Snow Goose (adult) and Eastern Screech Owl.
The Snow Goose was quite possibly the same adult that has been visiting the Umass campus in Amherst for the last two weeks or so. It departed with the first group of Canada Geese to leave in late afternoon. This bird, with the continued presence of the Eastern Screech Owl and the female Barrow's Goldeneye, made for a nice selection of species on an extremely cold afternoon.
