November 27th, 2005. Castle Hill Farm fields, Newtown, CT. Greater White-fronted Goose Anser albifrons, race uncertain. Excellent looks at this adult at three different sites in the Newtown area. It was clearly the parent of four orange-legged, Canada like hybrids, all of which traveled closely with the adult White-front between the feeding sites. Taken using Canon Powershot A-95 through Swarovski telescope.
