Took the drive out to Concord on a crisp autumnal morning to look for a Barnacle Goose
first found four days ago. Thankfully, many Canada Geese were feeding
in the described field, some of them very close to the road. This
morning the Barnacle Goose was feeding right at the back of the field
but with the sun behind us, so I and numerous other birders enjoyed good
scope views in excellent light. A (Greenland) White-fronted Goose also gave exceptional views (and vocals!) not more than 25 meters from the road in perfect light,
