February 10th 2007. Windsor/Bloomfield landfill, Hartford County, CT. Nelson's Gull. Larus hyperboreus x smithsonianus. First-winter. (2). Exceptional views of two rather similar looking first-winter Nelson's Gulls. The landfill wasn't too busy today with only about 1500 gulls present, but conditions were good and the views excellent.
