February 10th 2007. Windsor/Bloomfield landfill, Hartford County, CT. Unidentified 'white-winged' Gull. Larus sp. Juvenile/first-winter. An interesting bird, initially thought to be a Kumlien's Iceland Gull, but appeared quite large in comparison to smithsonianus. Also, head and bill jizz seemed distinctly odd for kumlieni.
