October 30th 2006. Turner's Falls, MA. Image selection of some of the scarcer migrant waterfowl at Turner's Falls, mostly from Barton Cove. Well over 1,000 waterbirds were resting and feeding in Barton Cove this evening in contrast to the power canal which was extremely quiet with just 3 Buffleheads and a handful of Canada Geese. Images taken through Canon Powershot A540 through Swarovski HD telescope. |
