| The stubble fields at Krif Road, and the puddles by the adjacent Keene State College Athletic fields produced some good shorebirding today. Both of these spots are just south-west of Keene and within the city limits. Shorebirds included the following; Greater Yellowlegs - 8 Short-billed Dowitcher - 1 Semi-palmated Sandpiper - 1 Least Sandpiper - 5 Spotted Sandpiper - 11 Solitary Sandpiper - 4 Semi-palmated Plover - 1 Killdeer - 1 Short-billed Dowitcher Limnodromus griseus (upper right) with eight GreaterYellowlegs Tringa melanoleuca.
