| Greater White-fronted Goose Anser albifrons possibly of the Greenland form A.a. flavirostris.
| Terrific
views of the geese once again at the Umass Campus pond but this White-front looked like a different bird to that of March 22nd, and was
probably the second of the two reported over the last week or so.
Features again
suggesting flavirostris, but this bird had slightly more distinct pale fringes to
the upperpart feathers, and more white feathering around the base of the lower mandible. Still showed overall uniform dark
appearance with a very orange bill.
