(Richardson's) Cackling Goose Branta hutchinsii hutchinsii.

Nick
Bonomo and Jim Moulton gave us the heads-up for the geese feeding at
this location. The flock included two Greater White-fronted Geese and
another really smart Cackling Goose. This individual was very similar
to the bird at the Barnes boat launch but had broader fringes to
the upperpart feathers.The views were rather more distant but watched
in perfect afternoon sunlight.
